Tori Arens

Tori Arens, President, Drug Product, brings over 27 years of technical and manufacturing leadership experience within the pharmaceutical industry. She has significant expertise in parenteral manufacturing spanning multiple modalities, including biologics, drug product, and gene and cell therapy. Before joining Alcami, Ms. Arens was the Vice President and Site Lead at National Resilience’s gene therapy site in Research Triangle Park (RTP) where she successfully transitioned the site from single to multi-product and led the site through its first FDA inspection and commercial approval.  Before her role at Resilience, she served as the Vice President of Drug Product Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Aerie Pharmaceuticals (now Alcon). In this position, she led the process validation, commercialization, and launch teams for two sterile ophthalmic products. Before stepping into executive leadership roles, Ms. Arens held various leadership positions at Biogen and Eisai, eventually becoming Senior Director of Manufacturing, with broad responsibility for their drug product manufacturing facility. Ms. Arens began her career in laboratory-based roles, focusing on formulation research and developing manufacturing processes for parenteral formulations. She earned her B.A. in Chemistry and M.S. in Pharmaceutics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
