Alcami was awarded by the North Carolina Department of Labor for our 2016 manufacturing and laboratories operations performance. Cherie Berry, North Carolina Department of Labor Commissioner, delivered the awards to members of the safety team. The following awards were presented:
Manufacturing Operations: Gold Award Winner
The gold award criteria is based on achieving a rate of days away from work, job transfer or restriction (DART) that is at least 50 percent below the industry rate.
Laboratory Operations - Wilmington & Durham: Silver Award Winners
The silver award criteria is based on achieving a rate for cases with days away from work (CDAW) that is at least 50 percent below the industry rate.
